Insta360 is not new to field of 360-degree video cameras, now company has announced Insta360 Evo Shoot. Insta360 has developed this new gadget in consumer and professional models. Now the folding Evo shoots both 360-degrees interactive video and 180-degree 3D. The Insta360 Evo has a TimeShift mode and the companion app makes it easy to edit and sharing of the content.

Alongside the Insta360 Evo also announced HoloFrame. This permits the naked-eye playback of 3D content straight from a smartphone with no 3D glasses required for that.

Insta360 unveiled the Evo, a 180-degree 3D camera and 360 cameras that allow users to switch between the two modes by folding the device in half. So, With the Insta360 folding Evo fully unfolded, the camera records 5.7K 180-degree 3D video and 18-megapixel 180-degree 3D photos. All can be done as there are the two lenses placed side-by-side.

The design behind the Evo is simple. If its two halves are folded out to sit side-by-side, it records 3D 5K/30fps video with a 180-degree field of view.  And with the presence of optional HoloFrame can get 3D view, as it filters over the screen of an iOS/Android smartphone. And that device can be linked to the camera via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.

When the two halves are folded back-to-back, though, the Evo switches over to shooting 360-degree video. That video can subsequently be panned and tilted within when viewed on a computer. Or it can respond to a user’s head movements when viewed through a VR headset.

The videos will run smoothly due to a 6-axis gyroscopic stabilization system. While the other offerings are is the ability to shoot HDR (high dynamic range), time lapse or slow motion, or to switch between manual and automatic exposure. Coming to the battery, the 1200 mAh battery with 90-minute charge is good 65 minutes of shoot.
